BEHOPU’s philosophy is based on beauty, honesty and purity. And these exact words gave us the inspiration to craft their name and their tagline. «Beautiful» for elegant design. «Honest» for objects that serve a purpose. «Pure» for simple forms, clear lines and humble natural materials. With these in mind, BEHOPU STUDIO was conceived almost effortless, by taking the first letters of each word, creating a one-of-a-kind name.
For the creation of the logo we divided the name into three horizontal rows, putting the first syllable of each word in each row. Being inspired by the architectural floor plans and specially the objects used in the designs, such as beds, tables and sofas, we removed each vertical letter element leaving only the horizontal points and curves.
By keeping the symbol and the typography separated, we gained great freedom in designing unlimited compositions with multiple readings.
For the design of the letterhead, envelope, business cards and other small elements, we followed the brand guidelines of black and white colors combined with typography. Especially for the business cards we emphasized on edge coloring with black and white color.
Regarding the online presence we designed a full dynamic and responsive website, following the brand guidelines of color-codes, typography and aesthetics.
We paid attention to the way typography and symbol would appear (never together), changing color depending on the background as the user scrolls. On each page, there are vertical breadcrumbs (making an indirect correlation with the vertical logo of the company) reminding to the user the section that he is.
