The name BAKEPAL comes from two words: bake and pal. It’s your new ally in the kitchen, your best friend who helps you out when you want to prepare something quick, tasty, and stress-free. Ideal for both home and professional use; the name is simple, direct, and describes exactly what the brand offers: confidence and ease when baking.
We also placed particular emphasis on the tagline: YOUR PERSONAL HELPER. Three words that encapsulate the brand’s philosophy – BAKEPAL is your trusted kitchen companion, always by your side to make baking easier and more enjoyable.
The logo features an oven mitt – a familiar, friendly symbol that evokes homely warmth and sweet memories. Rotated by 90οdegrees, it forms the letter B, visually incorporating the brand’s initial. Beyond a baking tool, the mitt symbolises the friend who’s always by your side, offering a helping hand.
For BAKEPAL’s brand identity, we used special papers, while for the business card and the leaflet we chose recycled paper – highlighting the brand’s modern and conscious character. The colour palette follows the visual language system we created for the packaging, ensuring consistency across every application. The mark was subtly used as a design element throughout the identity.
As the company plans to release different mixes for different products, we created a visual language system based on colour differentiation. After analysing the product range, we developed distinct colour codes, subtly applied to backgrounds, labels, or supporting packaging elements, so each category is recognisable at a glance.
BAKEPAL’s packaging was designed exclusively for professional (B2B) use, containing 2kg of product, with information available in seven languages. The concept is rooted in the brand’s core idea: that BAKEPAL is your kitchen companion. Thus, the logo’s mitt is “wrapped” around the pack as if hugging it, giving the sense that someone is offering you the product with care. This visual metaphor reinforces the “pal” element, the ever-present friend who’s there to help, offer, and support.
We designed a series of brochures in three languages, with the aim of presenting the brand’s full product range. The 16-page booklet includes detailed preparation instructions for crêpes, waffles, pancakes and other products, as well as background information about the company. It was printed on special papers, with a recycled cover, always respecting the brand guidelines.
In parallel, we also designed a magazine advertisement as part of a broader set of print applications created to strengthen the brand identity.
We created three digital illustrations based on the idea that the mixes can be used at any time of day. In the morning, mint leaves are carried away by the breeze and the sun takes the shape of a glowing crêpe. In the afternoon, fruit and sugar fall from the sky as the crêpe-sun begins to set. At night, scoops of ice cream turn into planets and a waffle becomes a crescent moon. At the centre of each scene is the product packaging, while every image subtly includes a water-related element, such as a glass or a bottle, emphasising that the mixes require only the addition of water. These imaginative worlds reflect the creativity each mix can inspire.
Finally, the illustrations were brought to life through short animations for social media and the website.
The website was designed according to the brand guidelines -colours, typography, and visual language- ensuring a clean, functional, and pleasant browsing experience. All products are presented along with their ingredients, and (sweet and savoury) recipes for each mix. The website also introduces the company’s philosophy, supported by photography that we art directed from concept to final delivery.
