By changing the name from Fournos Lemonis to Lemonis, we created consistency in both the Greek and English pronunciation of the brand, emphasizing this historic family name. The tagline One family, a thousand flavors highlights the variety of recipes, expertise, and family values, while the phrase Modern Bakery supports the contemporary identity, keeping the brand name at the forefront.
Bread, a symbol of family and enjoyment, inspired the visual identity. The logo combines two lowercase Greek “λ” characters, referencing the traditional loaf as well as the two siblings continuing the family tradition. The use of lowercase letters ensures a minimal and clean aesthetic, making the logo friendly and harmonious. Beige and brown tones, inspired by golden-baked dough and wheat, complement the design. The logo was also adapted for English, completing a visual identity that balances tradition and innovation.
The visual language of Lemonis – Modern Bakery includes abstract icons inspired by baking, showcasing the variety of products and reinforcing the brand’s uniqueness. Designed to align with the logo’s aesthetic, these elements enhance brand recognition and prestige, making the name appealing and modern.
The packaging for ready-to-eat salads stands out with creative icons tailored to each product variation. Every package maintains the brand’s consistent aesthetic, highlighting the freshness and variety of its offerings.
The packaging was designed with the brand’s minimal and clean visual identity in mind, tailored to seasonal needs. Special editions, such as Christmas versions, maintain a consistent style while highlighting the warmth and uniqueness of each season, enhancing the brand’s presence on every occasion.
As small details make a big difference, we decided to “hide” a few crumbs at the bottom of the craft packaging alongside the phrase Don’t leave a crumb, encouraging consumers to savor every last bite.
The uniforms were designed for different staff categories (men/ women), with an emphasis on functionality and style. Inspired by the brand’s visual identity, they combine a minimal aesthetic with practical features, enhancing brand recognition and professionalism in every role.
Branding the bakery’s vehicles with visuals based on its identity ensured consistency and professionalism, increasing the visibility of Lemonis – Modern Bakery throughout the city.
The menu was designed as an A5 trifold, adopting the aesthetic of a bistro-café menu, exuding sophistication and reflecting the premium identity of the brand and its top-tier products.
The handcrafted binding and detachable pages ensure practicality and durability. Opening the menu reveals the tagline and the bakery’s history, printed on cardboard and cleverly placed on a card on the left side.
Without compromising the traditional character and history of the bakery, we evolved the brand, giving it a strong, leading, and distinctive identity that makes it far more than just a bakery.
