CREATIVE DIRECTION, NAMING, LOGO, BRAND GUIDELINES, BRAND IDENTITY, WEBSITE, PHOTOGRAPHY, VISUAL LANGUAGE, BOOKLET, UNIFORMS, SIGNAGE

VAYRA is a luxury private villa in northeastern Corfu, built high on a hillside with panoramic views of the Ionian Sea. VAYRA needed a complete identity that would bring together contemporary architecture, the natural landscape and privacy with a high level of hospitality. For VAYRA, we designed the whole brand identity, from the name and the logo to the signage, the booklet, the website, and everything in between.

naming

The name VAYRA comes from the combination of two words: Vantage, a high point with an exceptional view, and Eyrie, a bird’s nest built high above the ground. Together they capture the villa’s position at the top of the hill and its panoramic relationship with the Ionian Sea. The descriptor Elevated Coastal Living completes the name, connecting the villa’s position high above the coastline with a stay that feels just as elevated.

We designed a clean, geometric symbol that brings together four defining elements of VAYRA. The elongated rectangle symbolizes the villa, the white volume that sits on the hilltop and is the first image guests encounter. The curve reflects the hill and its connection to the landscape, while the circle refers to the island and to the villa’s 360° panoramic view. The seagull, an element of the island’s natural environment, completes the composition. Its shape also subtly suggests the letter V, bringing together in a single symbol the architecture, the location and the island character of VAYRA.

id

We developed a visual language that supports the architecture and the landscape, rather than competing with them. Clean proportions, thin lines, restrained typography and generous white space come together in a calm, high-end aesthetic. The colour palette draws on the distinctive stone of the hill on which the villa itself is built, in shades ranging from light pink to brown and terracotta. For the printed materials, we selected papers for their distinctive texture and colour, ensuring they complemented VAYRA’s colour palette.
The same creative direction was applied to photography, with emphasis on the architecture, the view, the materials and the details of the villa.

id

For VAYRA’s corporate identity we designed envelopes, letterheads, printed and digital cards, email signature and pillow cards, with the same aesthetic across every application guests come into contact with. The same system includes the pre-arrival smart fillable forms and the post-stay feedback forms, so that VAYRA’s visual identity stays consistent before, during and after the stay.

signage

We designed the villa’s interior and exterior signage with the same aesthetic as the logo, drawing on its distinctive thin, discreet line. From the main signage to room names and individual information points, we created a unified system that sits discreetly within the spaces and the natural surroundings of VAYRA.

booklet

We designed the Welcome Guide Booklet as a mix of coffee table book and functional guide, bringing together everything a guest might need during their stay. Closed, it takes the form of an elegant box with a magnetic side closure, while its ring binding allows pages to be added, removed or replaced as the villa’s needs evolve. Themed sections, dividers, photography and QR codes organise the information with clarity. The architectural drawings were adapted to VAYRA’s brand guidelines and colour palette, accompanied by a specially designed legend map. See the Welcome Guide booklet in detail.

Kitchen Appliances Booklet

For the kitchen appliances, we designed a separate, small Kitchen Appliances Booklet, with the essential instructions for use and QR codes linking to more detailed digital guides for each appliance.

uniforms

We extended the visual identity to the villa’s linens and to a selection of hospitality items, reinforcing its consistency throughout the stay. We also designed uniforms for the villa’s staff, with different applications for the villa manager, chefs, service and housekeeping.

qr

We developed a digital system of around 40 QR codes, placed in the booklets and at selected points inside and outside the villa. Each code leads directly to the relevant information and instructions, connecting the physical experience of the stay with the digital one.

website

VAYRA’s website was designed and developed in line with the brand guidelines and the overall visual language. With typography, large-scale photography and video defining the experience, it presents the architecture, the spaces, the amenities and the floor plans of the villa, while keeping the same direction as the rest of the brand. Integrated online booking connects VAYRA’s presentation directly to the reservation process.

complete brand experience

The result is a complete identity for luxury hospitality, designed with consistency across print, digital and the villa’s own physical space. From the very first point of contact through to the stay and departure, every application is part of the same story… The story of VAYRA.
