Crepaland is an established franchise brand in the food service sector, operating since 1992 with more than 20 stores across Greece and Cyprus. The brief was not limited to a redesign of the identity, but also focused on redefining the brand’s positioning in the market and its overall image.
Our goal was to develop a dynamic and scalable brand system capable of supporting the long-term growth of the franchise, while ensuring absolute consistency across all applications.

tagline

So fresh. So good. A direct and simple message that highlights the freshness and quality of the products, reinforcing the authentic and flavourful character of the brand.

visual language

The visual language was developed from the core geometric elements of the logotype: the circle and the triangle. These shapes became the foundation for all illustrations, compositions and patterns across the brand.
The primary forms, the circle, triangle and rounded-corner parallelogram, function as structural elements of the system and reference the different dough bases, such as crepes, waffles and pancakes, as well as breads like burgers and club sandwiches. Each shape is assigned a specific colour tone corresponding to the type of dough or bread, such as classic, well-baked or whole-grain variations. At the same time, the circles represent the ingredients used in the products. Each colour corresponds to a different ingredient, sweet or savoury, such as tomato, lettuce, chocolate or beef.
This illustration-driven system became one of the most distinctive and recognisable characteristics of the brand identity.

visual language

Additionally, we developed a grid system on which all printed and digital applications were based. For every surface we defined specific measurements and proportions, ensuring that layouts are created through structure and clear rules.
This approach ensured visual consistency and a clear organisation and hierarchy of information across all brand touchpoints.

packaging

We developed more than 20 packaging applications. Illustrations and graphic elements were carefully adapted to each size and format so that the visual language remains recognisable across different sizes and materials.

packaging

We designed a complete series of boxes in multiple sizes and formats, covering the full range of the brand’s packaging needs.
For each package we created patterns that visually represent its contents. Every box features its own set of illustrations, designed specifically based on its contents, strengthening the identity of each product.

packaging

At the bottom of each package we illustrated the product in a “bitten” version. This resulted in a series of illustrations featuring “bitten products”, a subtle playful detail that acts as a small wink to consumers who notice it. This element is adapted to each package according to its contents.

menu

We designed the delivery menu by fully utilising the brand system, colour palette, typography and illustration-based patterns. The menu structure presents information clearly and efficiently, covering the entire product range.

menu board

We designed digital menu boards for screen displays, focusing on readability and clear presentation of information.
At the same time, in collaboration with the architectural team, we integrated all brand elements, such as the logotype, tagline and colour palette, into the space, ensuring that the brand identity becomes an integral part of the in-store experience.

b2b

We designed the 7kgr B2B sacks for crepe, waffle and pancake mixes supplied to franchisees. Three variations were developed, adapting the visual language to each product.

The Crepaland project represents a complete franchise branding system built on structure and consistency. Through a unified visual language we created an identity capable of evolving dynamically alongside the brand as it continues to grow.
